Ignatius Rake is an award-winning animator from Cornwall, UK. Indeed, he is one of only two foreign artists to win two awards at the annual Unco Film Festival in Tokyo, Japan.

To date, he has won more than 40 awards and laurels at film festivals across Japan, Asia, Europe and North America. These include Best Music Video at the 2024 Kaminari Japan Film Festival in Tokyo and Best Music Video at the 2024 Experimental, Dance & Music Film Festival in Toronto for the animated music video he made for She's So Spector-Esque by UK soul and ska singer Andy Keys Clark.
