He is also one of only two foreign artists to win multiple awards at the annual Unco Film Festival in Tokyo. After winning a Special Award for his animation Unco Daisuki! in 2022, he landed a Jury Award in 2023 for another music-driven animation entitled Toire o Fumanai!
